The Shape of the Universe
What is the shape of the universe, universe?
What is the shape of the world?
Is it a torus, spinning, expanding,
Wisp edges coming unfurled?
Does it have two tunnels through it, or three?
Or is it the magic of seven?
What on earth can it possibly be,
Geometrical shape of heaven?
Is the inside the same as the outside, the outside?
The outside the same as the in?
And can you come back to the very same place,
Whenever you go for a spin?
These are the things I wonder, wonder
These are what I want to know
Yet how on earth can one ever find out
If the universe is just so?
